Laura Dulay always knew she wanted to be a salon owner—but her path to success was anything but linear. From makeup artist on international commercial sets to the proud owner of three thriving Aveda salons in Central Florida, Laura’s story is one of passion, reinvention, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
After starting a family, Laura turned back to her lifelong dream of salon ownership. She immersed herself in the luxury service culture at the Ritz-Carlton salon in Orlando, earned her cosmetology license from the Aveda Institute in Winter Park, and in 2012 opened her first Salon Dulay location. Even during the challenges of 2020, she boldly expanded
with her second and third salons—each of which continues to thrive.
Today, Laura is more than a salon owner. She’s a mentor, leader, and coach whose greatest joy is helping her team grow and achieve both personal and professional breakthroughs. That same passion for people inspired her next chapter: The Heart of Hospitality—a two-day program designed to help salon owners and managers transform their front desk into a true driver of growth and guest experience.
Through this educational platform, Laura now shares the systems, service mindset, and leadership strategies that shaped her success, giving other owners the tools to elevate their businesses from the inside out.
Outside the salon, Laura is a proud mom and avid scuba diver, often exploring the ocean with her daughter—even shark diving in search of their favorite fish. Whether underwater or in business, Laura leads with curiosity, courage, and heart.
